White Label Template Gallery – RESELLER / ENTERPRISE ONLY

The White Label Gallery is an excellent way to showcase all Without Code themes completely unbranded on your site. Organize templates, add your own, and update descriptions so that your clients can view themes and select desired ones for their own websites.

Note: This widget is available to Reseller and Enterprise level users ONLY.

Setup

WIDGET PLACEMENT

  • Place the White Label Template Gallery on your page where you would like the gallery to appear.
  • If you wish to resize the gallery, use the blue resizing handle in the bottom right corner of the widget container.

WIDGET OPTIONS (CONTENT)

  • Unique ID: Unique IDs are required when multiple instances of the widget will be used on the same page.
  • Google Spreadsheet URL: The template spreadsheet URL should be entered here. Click the link just below this field to access the current list of templates. See the “Customizing Template Spreadsheet” and “Editing Google Spreadsheet” sections below for additional information.
  • Thumbnail Columns: This setting adjusts the number of columns in your gallery. The size of the thumbnails will decrease as the column count increases. Note that the gallery thumbnails use responsive width and height.
  • Allow Filtering: This toggle enables category buttons for your gallery. Categories are created using the template gallery Google spreadsheet.
  • Allow Pagination: As the name implies, this setting enables pagination at the bottom of the gallery.
  • Gallery Item Settings > Show Item Title / Caption / Read More buttons / Item Categories: These toggles enable various features within the template gallery. Each toggle is named appropriately.
  • Gallery Item Settings > “Read More” Button Label: When the “Read More” buttons are enabled, you may enter custom text for this button. Each button may be linked independently using the template gallery spreadsheet.
  • Link Images in Lightbox: In addition to the Read More button, you may link the template images within the lightbox. This link opportunity becomes available once the user clicks a gallery thumbnail and enters the lightbox.
  • Gallery Pagination Settings > Items Per Page: This sets the number of gallery thumbnails seen in your gallery. Use this setting in combination with the Thumbnail Columns setting to create a uniformly sized gallery.
  • Gallery Pagination Settings > Loop: This toggle allows the pagination to loop from the first page to the last page when the left/right arrows are used.

Note: Templates released after your White Label Gallery is placed on your site will not show up in your gallery automatically. To ensure that your gallery is up to date and includes the latest templates, click the link in the widget to access the current list of templates, and copy the lines containing new templates. Paste the lines in your site widget's Google Sheet in order to add the latest templates.

WIDGET OPTIONS (DESIGN)

The Design tab of the widget contains extensive styling options. Almost every element of the gallery can be customized. These settings are labeled with their exact function and are self explanatory, and will not be discussed individually here.

CUSTOMIZING TEMPLATE SPREADSHEET

The template spreadsheet is the heart of the gallery, and where all of the gallery content will be pulled from. Here are some tips for customizing the template spreadsheet:

  • Access the spreadsheet: You may access the spreadsheet by clicking the link near the top of the widget option panel. Or click here.
  • Make a copy: When you open the template gallery spreadsheet, you will be looking at the master template. This spreadsheet is not editable. To edit the spreadsheet, make a copy. File > Make a Copy. For additional information, refer to the “Editing Google Spreadsheet” below.
  • The list is up to date: We keep this spreadsheet up to date. All new templates will be added to this list when they are released.
  • Adding your own websites/templates: Have some websites or templates of your own to add? It’s easy. Simply add the information (title, caption, category, image, link) to your copy of the spreadsheet, and your gallery will be updated.
  • Mix and match: Feel free to mix your own websites or templates with the Without Code templates. You can enable or disable templates as needed within the spreadsheet.
  • Updates are real-time: Any changes you make to your copy of the spreadsheet will be updated immediately. This means that if you add a template to your spreadsheet, your gallery will be updated automatically, without the need to edit or republish your actual website.
  • Remember that your copy is separate from the master: As mentioned above, the master spreadsheet is always up to date. However, once you make a copy, any updates to the master spreadsheet will not be seen in your copy. If you wish to add new Without Code templates, simply open the master spreadsheet (using the link in the widget options) and copy the new template row of information. Paste this into your own spreadsheet and ensure that line of the spreadsheet is enabled.
  • “Image” and “Thumbnail” can be the same: The columns titled “Image” and “Thumbnail” define the URLs that are to be used as the lightbox image, and the thumbnail image, respectively. In most cases this will be the same image. But note that you may use different versions of an image, such as lower and higher resolution versions.
  • Match your own template images to Without Code template images: It is advised that if you are using your own websites or templates in the gallery, that you crop the images identically to the existing images in the spreadsheet.
  • You create the categories: It may be confusing initially how to create categories in the gallery. Categories are created when they are entered into the spreadsheet in the category column.

EDITING GOOGLE SPREADSHEET:

  • You will need a Google account and access to the free Sheets web app in order to edit the template (no Google account is required for viewing the template).
  • Follow the link near the top of the widget panel to open the template.
  • The template is view-only and cannot be edited as-is. Make a copy of the template: File > Make a Copy.

  • Name the new copy.

  • The new copy can now be edited.
  • When ready, you will need to publish the spreadsheet in order to use it with Sidebar Menu. Go to File > Publish to the web…

  • Copy the link provided. If no link is provided, you may need to click “Create Link.”

  • Click “Publish.”
  • Paste this Google Spreadsheet URL into the White Label Template Gallery widget option panel.
