AI Assistant: Text Widget

AI Assistant is an Artificial Intelligence tool that has been integrated into the Wocode builder to assist in various tasks of site building. Harnessing the power of AI can make building sites faster, simpler, funner and more useful for the end user.

This document focuses on the AI Assistant built into the Text widget. By utilizing the AI Assistant in the Text editor, you can generate content quicker than ever, while refining and improving the quality and tone of your text content.

Setup

The first time you use any of the AI Assistant options, a popup window will appear on the bottom of the screen where you will enter your business details. These details will be used to create a profile that AI Assistant can use for all AI Assistant tools throughout the builder.

The business profile questions only need to be answered once, on your first time using AI Assistant. You can edit this information anytime.

If you wish to update your business profile in the future, open any AI options panel and use the Edit Business Profile button on the bottom left of the window.

Write With AI

There are three main options for the AI Assistant within the Text widget:

  • New title
  • Title for this section
  • Paragraph

New Title:

This option assists in the creation of a title for a page, section or paragraph. Remember that the information entered in your business profile (the first step when using AI Assistant) is utilized in order to create high quality text content. The better the information fed to the business profile, the better quality the AI-generated content will be.

When New Title is selected, a popup will appear with two fields:

Write a title for a: choose from page, section, or paragraph.

About: Here you will enter a brief text prompt in order to inform the AI Assistant of the type of text you'd like to create.

For example, if you'd like to create headline text for the Products page of a bakery specializing in cookies, you might enter "our different products". This brief text prompt is used in combination with the content you've entered into your business profile to create a title. AI Assistant might create a title like "A scrumptious offering of all your favorite cookie classics"


Title for this text:

This option examines the text already entered in a block of text, and creates a title, using AI. This option is useful if you have multiple blocks of paragraph text that you decide you'd like to have titles for. In this case, the existing text in the paragraph acts as the AI prompt, and the AI Assistant quickly generates a title for the paragraphs.


Paragraph:

This option assists in creating long-form text. If you've provided good information in your business profile and you can prompt the AI Assistant for focused paragraphs, this is a tool that can save time and make site builds more efficient.

In the Write a paragraph about field, enter a prompt that can guide AI Assistant to write a paragraph. Using our bakery example, you could enter something like: our dedication to using only the highest quality ingredients.

You can choose how long you want the new paragraph to be by using one of the three Paragraph Length buttons (short, medium, long).

Quick Edits

Make Longer:

This option allows you to take existing text and make it longer. AI Assistant will automatically create paragraphs.

Make Shorter:

This option allows you to take existing text and reduce it to a shorter block of text.

NOTE: This option will not work if the body of text is too long. When the body of text is too long then an error message will be displayed informing you to reduce the amount of text before using this option.

Translate:

This option allows you to translate text into 14 different languages.

Improve Writing:

This option will rephrase the original text for improved intelligibility and completeness.

Fix Grammar & Spelling:

This option fixes spelling or grammar errors within the original text.

Change Tone:

This option changes the tone of the text. This can be used to create text that is a better fit for the personality of the brand of your business. Choose from:

  • Conversational
  • Humorous
  • Enthusiastic
  • Informative
  • Professional
  • Witty
  • Authoritative

Editing Tools:

There are a number of common editing tools available throughout the AI Assistant options.

Copy:

This button will copy the generated text to your computer's clipboard.

Preview:

This button will display the generated text within the text widget, before clicking the Use This Text button, allowing you to preview the generated text on the site before committing to using it.

Use This Text:

This option will apply the generated text to the text widget.

Try Again:

This option will regenerate new AI text.
