Ecommerce: Store Log in and Customer Accounts

You can create an account login feature which allows site visitors to sign in. This also allows you to manage visitors and monitor activity.

Add Login Button

Although there is no login widget for the store, you can link text, a button, or an image.

Note: this text won’t change when your customer logs in to alert them that they are logged in so we recommend using text that makes sense (e.g. My Account).

To add this login:

  1. Add a button to your store login page.
  2. Open the Content options and click “Store Link.”

Customers can enter their email address to receive a link to sign into the store (link expires in 14 days).

Customer Account

Once your customer logs in, they will have access to settings, order history and their address. Note: customers can’t update their address until after they’ve made a purchase.

You can manage your customers accounts from the store. Click “My Sales” and select “Customers.” You can export information via CSV from here.
