Ecommerce: Authorize Net as Payment Provider

You can select Authorize Net as your payment provider within the store. This option requires an Authorize.net merchant account prior to setting it up.

Note: This payment option is only available for Ecommerce hosting plans and higher.

Set up Account

  1. Log in to net or create an account.
  2. Visit “Receipt/Response URLs.”
  3. Select “Add URL.”
  4. Enter https://app.multiscreenstore.com/authorizenet/StoreID. Replace the StoreID with your individual store ID. You can find this by clicking “Dashboard” in your store menu.
  5. Submit.

Connect to Store

  1. Select the Ecommerce tab from the left menu and open your store.
  2. Click on “Payment” and select “Choose Payment Processor.”
  3. Pick “Authorize.NET SIM
  4. Select the desired transaction type:
    1. Authorize: This won’t send the transaction until you manually capture the funds in your Authorize.Net account.
    2. Authorize and Capture: This will automatically send the transaction for settlement. This is the most common option.
  5. Save.

Troubleshooting/Common Errors

MERCHANT ID/TERMINAL ID INCORRECT

This means there is an issue with your Authorize.net account. Visit their customer support page for next steps.

(99) THIS TRANSACTION CANNOT BE ACCEPTED OR (13) THE MERCHANT LOGIN ID OR PASSWORD IS INVALID OR THE ACCOUNT IS INVALID

This indicates that Authorize.Net account and the Authorize.Net settings within the Store don’t match. Confirm the appropriate settings on each platform as even an additional space can cause an error.
