Ecommerce: Paypal Plus

PayPal Plus is a well-known payment platform in Germany and includes PayPal, credit, direct debit, and invoice pay. This option allows you to offer customers a wider range of payment options.

Note: PayPal Plus is only available in Germany

To set up PayPal Plus,

1. Select the Ecommerce tab from the left menu and open your store.
2. Click on “Payment,” scroll down to “Choose Payment Method” and click on “PayPal Plus.”
3. Select “Apply for PayPal Plus.” This will redirect you to PayPal where you can login or create an account.
4. Once this account is approved, you can enter your credentials in the store.
5. Ensure PayPal Plus is activated within PayPal, select (“Continue to PayPal” to check the status).
6. Another option is to accept payments by invoice by selecting “Pay Upon Invoice.” This allows you to receive money up front while PayPal waits on the full payment from customers. You can select “Apply” to apply for this.
7. Enter the following information:
   • Payment method name at checkout: enter the payment name you want customers to see.
   • Payment instructions: enter any additional information you want to provide customers about the payment method.
8. Once completed, you will be able to start offering PayPal Plus to customers who are eligible (based on location).

Accepting Payments

Once PayPal Plus is enabled, eligible customers will see this option, but the specific sub-options (PayPal, credit card, debit, invoice) will depend on specific location.

Once they select their preferred method, customers will be directed to PayPal to complete the payment. You can view payment details for any order by visiting “My Sales” and selecting “Orders.”
