File Upload
You can use the file upload widget to add downloadable content to your site. This will allow visitors to easily click to download documents, ebooks, etc. Uploaded files cannot exceed 48mb.
Note: any site visitor will be able to download so don’t include any sensitive information, and ensure that you have permission to use the files and are not violating any copyright.
To add the file upload widget, open the Widgets tab and search for the File widget.
Drag this widget into the desired location of your editor and it will open the content and design options. From here you can add files by clicking the +File button and define the button text.
A popup window will appear; click “Upload New File” to select the new file(s) and you can either drag or choose from your computer, as well as Dropbox, Google Drive, a URL, or Gmail. Uploaded files cannot exceed 48MB in size.
Note: file names must use standard characters and there are restrictions on the type of file format accepted. The following can be uploaded: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Zip, PDF, PSD, SVG, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, MP3, TXT, XML, TTF, WOFF, OTF, EOT, ODT, JS, CSS, RAR
Once you select the relevant files, click “Upload.”
Once the upload is complete, you will be brought back to the original popup window. Click “Done.”
The file(s) will be visible from the content tab, which indicates it can now be downloaded by clicking the button.
Using the design tab you can select the layout of the button, as well as define the style and spacing.
